John's Home in Morijo 2007

At John Leshou's home, our host in Morijo, with his youngest son who is just one year old.

Tents are the preferred abode for many of the KMO team in Morijo

The view from John's front porch...magnificant!

John's relatives took good care of us in Morijo

John shows Theresa Cloete, a dental hygiene student from Buford,GA how he landed a plumb job at a private safari camp by surfing the web on his KMO laptop.

John looks over the plans Kevin Love, an architect in California, has drawn up for an expansion to John home in Morijo

Mary Francis, Danialle and Kevin chow down on what we brought from the USA and the grocery store in Nairobi

Dancing and singing lessons by Dr. Scott and Dr. Danille in the den of John's home on day one of our stay in Masailand

Not to be out done, Mary Francis shows Kara the finer moves of the Shag

Joanne, Bunnie and Dollie gather for the party with Mona and Leslie.

Kevin and Glori stayed in John's own room the first night in Morijo

Bunk beds were where many of the team slept at John's home. We had bunk houses  built there for the 2005 mission team.

The tent gangs

A typical Masai kitchen hearth...at John's

The Mother-in-law...cooks up a stew for John and the natives...but not us.

John has a specialty...opening bottles with another bottle cap!

At John's the barrack's we spent muc time around the camp fire while the local Kenya's told us much about about the Masai culture including this tooth cleaning device that is commonly used.

The 10/40 Window is an area stretching from 10° to 40° north of the equator from West Africa to East Asia. Did you know that 90 percent of all unreached people groups live in this region of the world? The 10/40 Window is identified as having less than 2 percent of their populations as evangelical Christians.
