Dr. Wayne Stevens, D.C.
Georgia
Chiropractic Care
Dr.
Wayne Stevens knew he was going to be a chiropractor from an
early age. He attributes this to his monthly visits to the
chiropractor with his parents.
“As a child I
never understood why I needed to get adjusted,” says Stevens.
“After all, I didn’t have sciatica or headaches. It wasn’t
until I was older that I understood that you don’t need to be
in pain to go to the chiropractor.
Upon
finishing high school he moved to Atlanta where he began his
formal education at Life University. After graduating Dr.
Stevens took a six-month chiropractic mission trip. While on
this venture he traveled through 44 different countries
educating locals and government officials about his
profession.
Being raised
in Punta Gorda, Fl. (site where Hurricane Charley hit last
year) and having a father who was a professional boat builder,
it is only natural that his two favorite past times are
boating and fishing. He also enjoys rebuilding and restoring
antique cars and boats. Dr. Stevens has been married for three
years and calls his two Jack Russell Terriers, Spencer and
Bailey, his children.
Every year,
for one week, Dr. Stevens offers his chiropractic services in
exchange for donations to the United States Marine Corp “Toys
for Tots” program. He also works with LeSEA Global Feed the
Hungry —a non-profit Christian organization providing
emergency relief for those in need as a result of famine,
drought, flood, war or other disasters.
Now in
Lawrenceville, his clinic serves people of all ages. In his
office, Dr. Stevens utilizes a technique called Chiropractic
Bio Physics (CBP). This technique allows him to offer his
patients a permanent solution to the spinal misalignments,
rather than temporary relief. Dr. Stevens provides workshops
and health talks in churches and businesses all over the
Atlanta metro area on topics that include workplace
ergonomics, on-the-job injury prevention and spinal hygiene.
“I love my
job. I am able to provide a unique service that allows people
from all walks of life to live healthier, happier lives.”
